All PAs must use PPL\u2019s new phone system Time4Care to accurately log their hours worked.<\/p>

There are two EVV options for consumers and PAs:<\/p>


Option 1: Mobile App<\/strong><\/p>

Download the\u00a0Time4Care<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0mobile application on your smartphone. The consumer and PA can each download the app separately on their phones, or the consumer can use the PA\u2019s phone to review and approve shifts. If you have an Android device, use this link to download from Google Play:

Option 2: Using a Telephony<\/strong><\/p>

Use a landline or consumer\u2019s cell phone to call in and out through the EVV phone line at\u00a0833-278-3959 and follow the steps below:<\/strong>
1. Select Option 1 to indicate that you are the caregiver
2. Enter your eight-digit date of birth
3. Enter the last four digits of your Social Security Number
4. Select your consumer from the automated list
5. Follow the prompts to clock in or out

Consumer approval of PA hours worked<\/strong>
In order for PAs worked hours to be processed, the consumer or DR must approve all hours worked each week by Sunday 11:59 PM for it to be processed in PPL\u2019s weekly payroll. There are 3 ways for consumers\/DRs to view and approve hours worked: Time4Care, PPL@Home or via Telephony<\/p>

Timesheets<\/strong>
There are 3 ways for PAs to log missed time:\u00a0Time4Care, PPL@Home, or via paper timesheet.<\/strong>
Logging missed time via the Time4Care app<\/strong>
To log time in Time4Care for hours that you were not able to use the app, i.e. Sabbath, please log into Time4Care and tap add past shift from the dashboard.

Logging missed time via Telephony<\/strong>
To log missed time via phone, please dial\u00a0833-278-3959<\/strong>\u00a0and follow the prompts for logging missed time

Logging missed time via PPL@Home<\/strong>
To log missed time via\u00a0PPL@Home\u00a0<\/a>, log in with your username and password and navigate to the timesheet tab.

PAs who are unable to log missed time via Time4Care, Telephony or PPL@Home, may submit missed time via paper timesheets.
All Timesheets must be submitted along with a timesheet exception form. To access a timesheet exception form, please\u00a0click here<\/a><\/strong>

Completed timesheets must be submitted to PPL via one of the 3 options below:

In order for PAs worked hours to be processed, the consumer or DR must approve all hours worked each week by Sunday 11:59 PM for it to be processed in PPL\u2019s weekly payroll. All time entries, including paper timesheets, are due for submission to PPL on each Saturday at 11:59 p.m. ET. Please only submit one timesheet to avoid processing delays. Paper timesheets must be submitted using PPL\u2019s official timesheet for New York CDPAP. Timesheets from other sources or programs will not be accepted.<\/strong>

No Smartphone, Tablet, or Internet?<\/strong><\/p>

Medicaid members may qualify for a free smartphone through a federal program. Consumers can apply for this benefit at\u00a0www.lifelinesupport.org<\/a>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
