For step-by-step instructions, <\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cms-v8g1h2d3tswc0.cpln.app\/lK5\">click here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p><p><b>Payroll<\/b><\/p><p><b>Logging Missed Time<\/b><b><br \/><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are 3 ways for PAs to log missed time: <\/span><b>Time4Care, PPL@Home, or via paper timesheet.<\/b><b><br \/><\/b><\/p><p><b>Logging missed time via the Time4Care app<\/b><b><br \/><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To log time in Time4Care for hours that you were not able to use the app, i.e. Sabbath, please log into Time4Care and tap add past shift from the dashboard.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><b>Logging missed time via Telephony<\/b><b><br \/><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To log missed time via phone, please dial <\/span><b>833-278-3959<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and follow the prompts for logging missed time<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><b>Logging missed time via PPL@Home<\/b><b><br \/><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To log missed time via <\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pplathome.pplfirst.com\/\">PPL@Home <\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>,<\/strong> log in with your username and password and navigate to the timesheet tab.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><b>Logging missed time via Paper Timesheets<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In certain cases, consumers and personal assistants may request an exception to use paper timesheets. Whenever possible, an EVV compliant timesheet submission is required. Exceptions to this can be requested through completing PPL\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/pplfirst.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Paper-Timesheet-Exception-Form.pdf\"><b>exception form<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This option is available for those who meet the below criteria and their case manager verifies:\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Consumers and\/or personal assistants are unable to use electronic timekeeping due to sincerely held religious beliefs.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The consumer does not have access to the internet and does not have a landline telephone in their residence.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There is another exceptional circumstance that prevents a consumer\/DR or PA from using an electronic method of timekeeping.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Paper timesheets can be requested by calling 1-833-247-5346 or submitting an <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/pplfirst.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Paper-Timesheet-Exception-Form.pdf\"><b>exception form<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> via fax, mail, or email.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mail: 17 Plaza Drive, Latham, NY 12110\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fax: 1-844-244-4384\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Email: <\/span><b>NYCDPAP_TS@pplfirst.com<\/b><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Consumer Timesheet Approvals<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Approving PA timesheets is an important part of consumer direction. This verifies that the time the PA submitted is accurate<\/span><b>. In CDPAP, consumers must <\/b><b>approve<\/b><b> their PAs\u2019 timesheets no later than 12 p.m. (noon) ET every Sunday. PA timesheets must be <\/b><b>submitted<\/b><b> for approval by Saturdays at 11:59 p.m. ET.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 With the exception of paper timesheets, time entries do not have to be approved through the same method the PA used to submit them. Consumers can choose the system they prefer such as <\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pplathome.pplfirst.com\/\">PPL@Home<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or Time4Care app.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Payment<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PAs are paid weekly, on Thursdays, via direct deposit or paper check, based on their chosen method. For time submitted by the payroll deadline of Saturday at 11:59 p.m. ET, PAs will be paid on Thursday of the following week. A copy of the PPL pay schedule can be found <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/pplfirst.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/NY-CDPAP-Payment-Schedule-2026.pdf\"><b>here<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you requested direct deposit, please be aware that your first paycheck\u202f <\/span><b><i>may<\/i><\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u202fbe a paper check. As a standard practice, PPL verifies that your banking information is accurate prior to payroll. If you submitted a direct deposit form at least 5 days before the payroll date and your banking information was confirmed to be correct, you will receive an electronic deposit. If you submitted your direct deposit form within less than 5 days of the payroll or we could not confirm the information with your bank, you will receive a paper check until your banking information is confirmed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><b>Wisely Pay by ADP\u2122 Debit Card<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PPL offers PAs the option to receive their paychecks on a debit card. PAs who choose this option will receive a Wisely Pay debit card in the mail. The Wisely Pay card can be used to make payments over the phone, online, or anywhere Debit Mastercard\u00ae or Visa\u00ae debit cards are accepted. Paper timesheets must be submitted using PPL\u2019s official timesheet for New York CDPAP. Timesheets from other sources or programs will not be accepted. Any additional timesheets \u2014 whether from the same or a different PA \u2014 will be denied with the message, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThis is not allowed for Per-Diem service code.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Attention PAs! If you requested direct deposit for the first time or updated your banking information with PPL, it may take 1-2 pay periods for electronic payments to begin. In the meantime, you may receive a paper check mailed to the address we have on file. As a standard practice, PPL verifies that your banking information is accurate and any updates were authorized by you prior to payroll.<\/span><\/p><p><b>No Smartphone, Tablet, or Internet?<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Medicaid members may qualify for a free smartphone through a federal program. Consumers can apply for this benefit at <\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifelinesupport.org\/\">www.lifelinesupport.org<\/a>.<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><\/p><p><b>Benefits<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CDPAP personal assistants have several health benefit options through PPL. For questions about the PPL Flex Card, please contact Omni Advantage at (518) 908-4775.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Benefits for Full-time Workers\u00a0<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PAs working more than 130 hours per month have the choice of enrolling in\u202fPPL\u2019s SecureHealth Plan, which provides comprehensive coverage.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Personal assistants in the downstate regions \u2014 Nassau, Suffolk, New York, Kings, Queens, Richmond, Bronx, and Westchester counties \u2014 are automatically enrolled in the PPL BasicWellness Plan, which covers basic preventive care, and the PPL Flex Benefit Plan (also called Flex Card), which helps cover various healthcare-related expenses. The PPL Flex Benefit Plan allows your employer to contribute to eligible medical expenses in a set amount for each hour you work.
